How We Delivered a 10x+ ROAS in Just 20 Days
The goal was to push profitable ROAS and sales for a luxury nursery and baby brand without extra budget.
STRATEGY:
We built the campaign around a classic full-funnel, running prospecting and retargeting side by side so each stage of the customer journey had a dedicated budget and creative approach.
The prospecting campaign (PRO) is aimed at cold UK audiences who hadn't yet interacted with the brand. Rather than a generic brand awareness push, we led with a hard-hitting value proposition: their best-selling bundle product. Pairing an aspirational, editorial-style product shot with a clear problem-solving message, to give cold traffic an immediate reason to click and convert rather than just "like" the brand.
The retargeting campaign (RTG) used Meta's dynamic product ads to re-engage anyone who had shown intent in the previous 90 days, whether that was viewing a product page or adding to cart. Instead of static creative, this campaign pulled directly from the product catalogue, showing shoppers the exact products they'd already shown interest in.
This kept the retargeting pool warm and reminded high-intent shoppers exactly why they'd considered egg in the first place.
The Results (1-20 July, 20 days)
The combined structure delivered a blended return on ad spend of roughly 11x across £438 of spend and 65 website purchases, at a blended cost per purchase of around £6.74. Broken down by campaign:
The prospecting campaign spent £301 and drove 27 purchases at £11.16 cost per purchase, returning 10.15x ROAS from cold traffic alone, a strong result for a top-of-funnel campaign that had no prior audience warmth to lean on.
The retargeting campaign spent £137 and drove 38 purchases at just £3.61 cost per purchase, returning 12.93x ROAS, proving how efficient dynamic retargeting can be when it's built on a well-maintained product catalogue and an engaged audience.
Why It Worked
Three things stood out in the first 20 days.
The offer-led prospecting creative gave cold audiences a concrete reason to act immediately rather than simply raising awareness.
The dynamic retargeting layer did the heavy lifting on efficiency, converting warm shoppers at a fraction of the cost of new customer acquisition.
Keeping the structure simple, one clear objective per campaign, meant we could read results fast and make confident calls on budget within days rather than weeks.
The Results
In under three weeks, a focused two-campaign structure turned a modest budget into an 11x ROAS, proving a prospecting & retargeting approach.
